Holiday Healthy Teeth Tips!
1. Maintain your normal routine
The Holidays can be a crazy time. Even with a busy schedule, make sure that you are brushing your teeth twice a day and flossing regularly. This is especially important if you are enjoying some holiday treats! If you're traveling, make sure to keep a toothbrush, toothpaste and floss with you.
2. Drink plenty of water
Make sure to keep hydrated especially if you are out and about. Drinking water can also help limit discoloration after consuming stained beverages like wine, coffee and tea.
3. Take it easy on your teeth
When eating crunchy snacks, especially nuts, do not crack them with your teeth. Make sure to stock up on healthy snacks like vegetables and cheese that can be good for your teeth and lower the pH of the mouth. Also, don't try opening any bottles with your teeth!
4. Schedule your next checkup & cleaning
As the new year approaches, make sure you have your next checkup and cleaning scheduled to stay on track!
Enjoy the holiday season and New Year!
